Standing on the edge I
Fall into the endless sky
Voices, wanting, yearning
Voices trapped in time

My loneliness, Companion
My solemnly slumbering guide
My wanting forever lingering
The burning deep inside

It's raining outside
And thundering in my soul
Lightning trapped inside me
Fierce winds are blowing cold

The darkness is my keeper
By Lament I do abide
Mighty penstrokes, paper fury
Release the pain inside

Would I spend forever in it?
These passions that I hide
Would I be the one --
Holding me aside?
